Information we collect

We collect the information you choose to provide — such as your name, business name, contact details, and the business details you submit through our eligibility and contact forms. If you apply for financing, this also includes the financial information needed to evaluate and package your request, such as business and property details, estimated credit information, application documents you upload, and — with your permission — bank account information connected through Plaid (described below).

We also collect usage and device data through first-party and third-party analytics to operate, secure, and improve the site. This includes pages viewed, referring URLs, marketing source parameters, approximate location (such as city, region, and country), IP address, device, browser, and operating system, along with anonymous session and visitor identifiers stored in your browser’s local/session storage. This data is used for security and analytics, is retained for a limited period, and is not sold. You can limit it by using your browser’s privacy controls; where required, we honor applicable opt-out and privacy-control signals.

Bank account connections (Plaid)

To reduce paperwork, you can choose to connect your business bank account instead of uploading statements. We use Plaid Inc. to link your account: your bank credentials are entered directly with Plaid and your financial institution — we never see or store your bank username or password. With your permission, Plaid provides us information from your account, such as account details, balances, transaction history, and bank statements or asset reports, which we use solely to evaluate, underwrite, and package your financing request. By connecting an account, you grant us and Plaid the right to access this information as your agent for that purpose. Data collected through Plaid is also governed by Plaid’s End User Privacy Policy. You can disconnect a linked account at any time by contacting us, and we will remove the connection.

How we use your information

We use your information to evaluate and respond to your funding inquiry, to contact you about your request, and to improve our services. With your consent, we may contact you by phone, text, and email about your inquiry.

How we share your information

To fulfill your request, we may share the information you provide with the funding partners involved in evaluating your specific deal, with credit bureaus and verification services where you have authorized a credit review as part of a full application, and with service providers who help us operate — such as secure hosting and database infrastructure, bank-data connectivity (Plaid), e-signature, and communications (email/SMS) providers. Each provider receives only what it needs to perform its function. We never sell, rent, or share your contact information with marketing companies, and we do not permit the funding partners or service providers we work with to use your information for their own marketing.

Data retention

We retain application and client records as needed to service your financing relationship and to meet legal and regulatory obligations, after which they are deleted. You may request deletion at any time (see below); we will honor verified requests except where we are required to retain records.

Your choices

You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP, and unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message. You may request access to or deletion of your information by contacting us at support@capcocapital.com.

Data security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information you provide, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, role-restricted access to production systems, and multi-factor authentication on the internal systems that store your data. No method of transmission over the internet is fully secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the date above.
