Your clients ask you about money first. Have a good answer ready.
When a client needs equipment, a building, working capital or a buyout, introduce them to Capco Capital. Our commercial lending advisors find the right fit in our lender network, and you stay the person they trust with their numbers.

You see it in the numbers before anyone else
Tax season shows the need
The cash crunch, the aging equipment or the expansion plan shows up in the books long before the client says it out loud.
Growing faster than cash
Receivables, payroll and inventory outrun the bank balance, and they need working capital that fits the cycle.
A building or a buyout
A building, a second location or buying out a partner, and they want to know what's realistic before they commit.
Stuck in a costly advance
Daily debits from a merchant cash advance are eating the margin, and they need a way out into a real loan.
Three steps, and you never work a file
Disclose it first, in writing
Before the introduction, give your client a signed, dated written disclosure of any referral fee. Or choose no fee and skip it.
Send them over
From your portal in about two minutes, with your personal link, or with a quick call. We reach out respectfully and do the work.
Follow along
Your client uploads documents to us directly, so you never send us tax returns. Your portal shows each introduction's stage and deal size.
A referral fee to your firm, disclosed to your client
Where your rules allow it, your firm receives 25% of our fee when a deal you introduced funds, and your client gets a signed, dated written disclosure before the introduction. If your firm will prepare the statements for the loan package, no fee applies.
25% of our fee, disclosed to your client"I'd like to introduce you to Capco Capital, a commercial lending advisory firm, for your business financing. If it closes, Capco Capital may pay my firm a referral fee of 25% of the fee they receive (estimated at $____). You're free to work with anyone you choose."
Have your client sign and date it before the introduction, sign it yourself, and keep a copy with the client file.
Preparing the loan package? No fee.
No fee applies to a client for whom your firm performs an audit or review, compiles financial statements a lender may use, or examines prospective financial information. A lender is a third party, so if your firm will prepare the statements for the loan package, take no fee. Introduce them anyway: they get the same help.
Prefer no fee?
Tick the box when you sign up, or tell us any time after, and we'll set your account to no-fee. Your portal, your link and your client's experience stay exactly the same.
- A signed, dated written disclosure to your client before the introduction.
- No fee for a client whose statements your firm audits, reviews or compiles for a lender, or whose prospective financial information your firm examines.
- The fee is paid to your firm, after a deal funds and we're paid.
- Don't send us client tax returns. Your client uploads documents to us directly (IRC § 7216).
Real help, not a sales pitch
A Capital Position Report
A plain-language read on where the business stands with lenders, built from public records and their own numbers, and what would make the file stronger.
An honest read
If it's a fit, we say so and get to work. If it isn't, we tell them why and what would change it. No runaround.
The right lender, not just any lender
We match the request to lenders in our network that fit it. Real business financing, never a merchant cash advance dressed up as a loan.
What could you earn?
Set the sliders to match the business owners you know, and see what your introductions could add up to.
Your estimated fees a year
Estimated fees: $12,000 a year, about $1,000 a month. About 10 funded deals a year.
Assumes Capco Capital earns about 2% on a funded deal; your share is 25% of that. Illustrative, not a promise; actual fees depend on what funds.

Straight answers
Can a CPA accept a referral fee?
Only when your firm doesn't audit, review, compile statements a lender may use, or examine prospective financial information for that client (AICPA Code ET 1.520.001), and only with a signed, dated written disclosure to the client before the introduction. The fee is paid to your firm. Your state board may add rules, so check yours.
What if my firm prepares the financial statements for the loan?
Then no fee applies to that client. A lender is a third party, so statements your firm compiles for the loan package fall under the rule. Introduce them anyway: they get exactly the same help.
Can I send you my client's tax returns?
Please don't. Tax-return information can only move with your client's prior signed consent (IRC § 7216), so we ask the client to upload their documents to us directly through a secure link.
Do I have to take a fee?
No. Plenty of professionals prefer not to. Tell us when you sign up (or any time after) and we'll set your account to no-fee. Your portal works the same.
Will you take over my client?
No. We arrange the financing and nothing else. We don't offer tax or accounting services, and we send your client back to you for everything that isn't the loan.

Capco Capital LLC is a commercial lending advisor, not a lender. We arrange commercial, business-purpose financing through our lender network, nationwide except California; credit decisions are made by the lenders. Referral fees apply only to funded commercial, business-purpose deals, never to residential mortgages or real estate transactions. They are paid after we're paid with a current W-9 on file, are never added to the loan or charged to the borrower, and are disclosed to the borrower in writing. Partners introduce only: they never quote, obtain, present or negotiate financing terms. If you refer as someone's employee, we'll ask for your employer's written consent before any fee. Partners in licensed professions disclose any fee to their own clients as their professional rules require, and take none where those rules don't allow it. Officers, employees, agents and attorneys of a bank or credit union belong on our bank page: no fee ever applies to them or their institution. Calculator figures are illustrative, not a promise: actual fees depend on what funds.
